[Announcement] ITA Sub-Teams

Dear everyone,

Today, yet another milestone and achievement has been accomplished successfully.

After our Roadmap being published and hopefully everyone has read it, time has come for our next step :)

ITA Team is pleased to announce the beginning of starting the operational phase of our project. If you haven't yet read our Roadmap's Post, please do it now. We're almost done from the basics and we decided to start with the next step while we're finishing the foundations and building the main pillars of our team. 

We have decided to start building our Sub-Teams from now.

That is not everything, there are more good news.

The reason behind our decision is that we have found two highly skilled and talented Iraqi young people who have joined our team and they agreed to establish the very first Sub-Teams within ITA Team.

Yet again, we're pleased to announce that ITA Team now has the following Sub-Teams:

• Graphics Design Team
• Networking Team

Not only that, but each of the above Sub-Teams now have a Team Leader who will be in charge of:

1. Operating the Sub-Team within the scope of that team.
2. Recruiting more contributors and volunteers to their Sub-Teams.
3. Being members of The Teams Board.

Today is a very happy and special day.
We had a meeting today (which we didn't record - sorry, you can't find that on YouTube) with Sarmad and Haider the new Team Leaders and we have agreed to all the above.

Hopefully more good news will come from now and on. Stay tuned and thank you for your help and support :)

ITA Team Roadmap

Hi everyone,

Today, The Founders of ITA Team (Atheer and Ali) had a long meeting to discuss the Roadmap of the team and to share everything with the whole world. The Roadmap of ITA Team is the foundation of establishing the team and work on other projects. It is the most important step of all.

اليوم عقد اجتماع مطول بين الموؤسسين لفريق الاكاديمية التكنلوجية العراقية (ITA) - اثير و علي - لمناقشة خارطة الطريق للفريق و مشاركة كل شئ نقوم به مع العالم اجمع. خارطة الطريق تعتبر حجر الاساس الذي عليه سوف يتم بناء الفريق و بالتالي المشاريع التي سوف يعمل عليها الفريق قريبا او مستقبلا. خارطة الطريق هي اهم خطوة على الاطلاق.

Hello World,

12-3-2014 Wed, we had our 2nd meeting in row on Google Hangout and below are the minutes and the decisions:

1- Leaders of ITA Team

• Atheer Kaysi
• Ali Miracle
• Ali Al-Kazaly
• Muhammed Essa Al-Timimy
• Ali Jawad

2- Projects

• iRQLinux: The very first Iraqi Operating System based on GNU/Linux.
• Ali Miracle: Introduce one of the more talented and gifted Iraqi Programmer to the whole world.

3- Recruiting

• Use ITA Facebook Page, Iraq Linux Community facebook group and invite friends and family to our team.
• Real Life: Universities, Colleges, Office, etc.

4- Communications and Team Management

• To Create a new Launchpad Team for ITA Team - DONE - See this.
• Use the Mailing List Feature of Launchpad for daily communications - facebook is NOT the right platform for any kind of serious communications - DONE - see this.

5- Public Media

• To Create a new Blog for ITA Team - DONE - See: ITA Team's Blog.
• To Create a new Gmail account for ITA Team - TODO.
• To Create YouTube Channel for ITA Team - TODO.
• To Create Google+, Facebook and Twitter for ITA Team  - TODO.

6- Others

• KISS (Keep It Simple and Short).
• Always use the available resources instead of creating new from scratch. We don't need to re-invent the wheel.
• Time is our worst challenges. The more time we save, the better.
• Our main target and aim is Iraq and Iraqi people.
• Sharing our knowledge and experience is a noble mission and priority.
• All of us are smarter than anyone of us = Team Spirit.
• There is no one within the team is better than the other. Each and everyone is equal and have a certain role to do.
• Regular Meeting on Google Hangout to be recorded so the whole world can see what we are doing. We share our experience and our step-by-step Progress.
• We always tend to ask for voting to maintain the team spirit and stay away from any kind of dictatorship. However, each and every decision to be made must 'first' be discussed by the 'Leaders/Founders' of ITA Team and if the 5 members (board) will vote for that, we ask the whole team to review and give their feedback.
• Focus on the quality rather than the quantity.
• Last but not least, we start from now to tell the whole world about our team. Tell your friend, mates, etc about this team. Let's get ourselves known.

It was a very long meeting, yet very important. The very first steps to establish the dream team has been accomplished successfully. Now, it is time for real fun and dazzling the world.
